We’re working feverishly this weekend to try to get the latest theme – titled LinePress – out to the anxious Gabfire community. It’s built using HTML5 and it has hints of the recently upgraded NewsPro theme. So if you’ve been looking for a newspaper theme and haven’t found one in the Gabfire lineup, then this one may be for you.

Well, the moment that everyone has been waiting for is finally here! WordPress 2.8 has been released and with the new version of the most popular online content management system now in play, there are plenty of new features for the avid WordPress enthusiast to explore.
That having been said, some might see a cautionary tale to this measure since a lot of the WordPress themes that we have on our Gabfire Themes website were created when different and earlier versions of WordPress are the norm. We have some good news. The theme prices for multi site and developer licenses are decreased. Now you can purchase a multi site license for $99 while the developer pack is $159.
We have had some major updates with our themes as well. All themes are enabled with Viva Zoom Pro which is a great plugin to resize images on the fly and place thumbnails on predefined places on specified pages. You don’t need use custom fields no longer to place a thumbnail on homepage. This feature is going to help a lot for those who are using WpShowcase theme. Sweet, isnt it.
There is also a built in control panel in all themes that would help you to translate and/or set the theme up. You can manage 125px ads over admin dashboard as well. Another option, that theme settings page would allow you to do is, to switch between predefined styles. We have 5 different styles for NewsPro, 2 styles for WpShowcase and 2 styles for Suvi magazine.
NewsPro now has a footer enabled as well as built in photo gallery. Yes you heard correct, the photo gallery is built in and you can now upload photos and create personal photo galleries NewsPro theme.
